MARITIMO JOINS IN SANCTUARY COVE FESTIVAL

The Sanctuary Cove Festival being held this Sunday will celebrate the finer things in life, with displays of luxury and classic cars and the latest luxury Maritimo cruising motor yachts, plus a full program of free live entertainment and world-class dining.

Last year’s inaugural Sanctuary Cove Festival saw close to 10,000 people converge at The Marine Village to enjoy a slice of life at the Gold Coast’s premier lifestyle destination.

Maritimo’s International Sales and Marketing Manager, Greg Haines, said the combination of some of the world’s most celebrated luxury brands in one location and in such an environment was unique.

“Maritimo is delighted to be involved in the Sanctuary Cove Festival and we will be displaying four of our most popular models including the recently released and highly successful M61 cruising motoryacht,” he said. There will be new and pre-owned vessels on display.

The Sanctuary Cove Festival will feature exhibits of vehicles and vessels, with latest releases from premier marques such as Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, Bentley and Ferrari, as well as big boating brands such as Maritimo.

Head of marketing and events at Mulpha Sanctuary Cove Johan Hasser said he was delighted to see Sanctuary Cove Festival evolve into an annual event.

“Feedback from the inaugural Sanctuary Cove Festival last year was overwhelmingly positive, with many people saying the event was one of the best we have ever held,” Mr Hasser said.

“We are proud to present the next edition of this unique event, which encapsulates the coastal lifestyle and celebratory spirit of our community here at Sanctuary Cove, while also providing our visitors with a taste of what dreams are made of, with amazing displays by so many luxury brands who have signed on to be part of the Festival.

“We invite local residents and visitors to join us for a day of live entertainment, delicious food and fun for all, alongside displays from many of the Gold Coast’s and Brisbane’s premier car and motor yacht brands.”

In 2016, a range of recreational vessels including sport and trailer boats and jet skis will join the exciting showcase, which is set against a backdrop of non-stop live music and fun for the kids spread throughout the precinct, culminating in a stunning fireworks finale.

Visitors can also enjoy a great range of gourmet food and beverages from Sanctuary Cove’s finest restaurants and cafes, while the eclectic boutiques of The Marine Village will curate an array of upmarket sidewalk stalls, sure to entice the stylish shopper.

Sanctuary Cove Festival is a free, all-ages event taking place from 10am to 6pm at The Marine Village, Sanctuary Cove.
